Udruženje Professional Beauty Association (PBA) s ponosom je predstavilo dobitnike nagrada na najprestižnijem sjevernoameričkom fotografskom natjecanju frizerskog oblikovanja kose i ljepote za 2016. godinu – NAHA 2016. Na tom veličanstvenom frizerskom događanju, na kojem je obilježena i dvadeset i sedma godišnjica dodjeljivanja ove frizerske nagrade, Matt Swinney proglašen je najboljim frizerskim stilistom Sjeverne Amerike.

NORTH AMERICAN HAIRSTYLING AWARDS 2016

Najviše priznanje, nagradu za frizerskog stilista godine, primio je Matt Swinney iz Evolution salona u gradu Minneapolisu.

Proglašenje pobjednika održano je 24. srpnja 2016. godine na svečanoj večeri u Las Vegasu kojoj su prisustvovale brojne zvijezde i frizerske legende sjevernoameričkog kontinenta. Večer proglašenja pobjednika održana je u sklopu PBA-ovog tjedna ljepote – Beauty Week 2016, najvećeg sjevernoameričkog sajma ljepote koji je ugostio nekoliko tisuća frizerskih profesionalaca. Glavnu nagradu za najboljeg frizerskog stilista dobio je Matt Swinney (Evolution salon, Minneapolis).

NORTH AMERICAN HAIRSTYLING AWARDS 2016

Svečana večer NAHA 2016. bila je središnje događanje tjedna ljepote i na njoj je odano priznanje umijeću i vještinama salonskih profesionalaca. Ulazak u finale ovog natjecanja veliko je postignuće za umjetnike frizerskog oblikovanja kose i šminkanja. Finalisti iz prethodnih godina, kao i ovogodišnji pobjednici, nastavljaju pomicati granice lansirajući nove trendove. Tijekom ceremonije dodjeljivanja nagrada svoje umjetničke prezentacije prikazalo je pet vrhunskih frizerskih timova: Aveda, Beauty Underground, Morrocoanoil, Redken i Wella Professionals. Cijelo događanje je vodio glumac Alan Cumming, osvajač brojnih kazališnih i filmskih nagrada.

Frizersko NAHA natjecanje dodjeljuje priznanja u četrnaest kategorija, a o petnaestoj kategoriji odlučuju posjetitelji.
